You may have heard of the benefits of listening to music while you poop, but what you may not know is that music specifically designed to aid digestion can help get things going when you first wake up in the morning. This is especially important if you tend to wake up feeling constipated (which is apparently a very common problem for early risers).
Most of us are dehydrated by the time we wake up, so we need to fix that first. The remedy is super simple: Drink a glass of water before you go to the bathroom and you should notice a much easier poop. It's not necessarily that you needed water but that your body was dehydrated and this was causing your bowel movements to be stuck. Now they won't be.
What's great about this is it doesn't necessarily have to be water. You can drink juice, coffee, or even pickle juice (seriously). The point is that you're doing something that will make your body realize it needs to get rid of excess fluid and your bowels will follow suit.
